C.K gets trim for end user satisfaction

One of the unsung toolbox heroes, the trimming knife, is essential kit for most tradesmen and Carl Kammerling, the leading supplier of quality tools for professional, has launched a new, comprehensive range under its C.K brand; offering a host of valuable features designed to ensure safe, comfortable and efficient use.

Far from 'a one tool suits all' solution, feedback highlighted a demand for product options to suit both individual preference and work type. In response to this, the new range boasts five knifes in total: a metal fixed blade, a retractable blade, a soft grip fixed blade, a soft grip retractable blade and also a soft grip snap-off blade knife.

Each knife has been designed to overcome a variety of irritations with alternative products. Small yet welcome additions, such as screw retention when replacing blades, prevent the need for a 'needle in a haystack' hunt for lost screws. And integral magnets to secure the blade

also make for a far easier,

faster and safer changeover. As an additional safety feature, the snap-off blade knife includes an integrated blade snapper to ensure a clean and safe break.

While the snap-off blade holds up to six blades, the other four knifes offer storage for up to five blades and, in addition, are supplied with a separate, spring-loaded 10 blade dispenser. The dispensers are also sold separately in convenient 10, 50 and 100 blade options ensuring adequate supplies for the toughest of jobs. Dispensers for the snap-off blade knifes are supplied in 10 blade packs.

Nicki Elkin, C.K Brand Manager, commented: "We know how important trimming knives are to our end users - they want comfort, efficiency and speed but not at the expense of safety. Our new range addresses these issues and incorporates all of these features and more. And with spare blade packs of up to 100, C.K will satisfy even the most intensive and demanding of users".
